          Join us the third Tuesday of each month to try a new recipe and get some great cooking and nutrition tips, for FREE. August's recipe will be Italian Shrimp Pasta.

August 16   Block of the Month Quilting Club: 9-3 &  17  5-9 pm

August 18   Topsy Turvy Tea Party: 6-8 pm            

           This event will recognize Type 2 Diabetes and promote Homemakers. We'll have informational booths, guest speakers, finger foods and more. Come join us!

August 29   Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Event at Bremen Elementary: 5:30 pm   

           Topics will include: dealing with challenges, finances, where to find support, and how to entertain your grandchildren. There will be prizes and activities for the children too. September 1   The Pressure is On! Homemaker Lesson Training: 10 am     

          If you think pressure cooking is a thing of the past, think again! Learn about new equipment, taste recipes and learn tricks for making your pressure cooker an everyday part of your kitchen. Homemaker mailbox members will receive information in the mail, but are welcome to come to the training if you'd like.

Join us and make this fun, fall scarecrow sign. Cost is $10 and you must stop by our office to pay your fee in order to sign up.

September 28   Creating & Maintaining Family Traditions Homemaker Lesson: 10 am    

          This lesson will reinforce the importance of family traditions, emphasize habits to preserve and respect traditions, and provide practical ways to establish new traditions.
