Agriculture & Natural Resources (ANR) is a program area of the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. We provide informal education in agricultural production and environmental stewardship. Our programs make a difference in the lives of millions of Kentuckians through research-based education. County agents serve as the link between people in every Kentucky county and experts at UK and KSU. They provide educational programs for the public through meetings and workshops, field days, etc.

ANR offers programs in:

  • Animal and Food Sciences
  • Plant and Soil Sciences
  • Horticulture
  • Forestry

Departments that further support ANR programs include:

  • Ag Economics
  • Biosystems & Ag Engineering
  • Entomology
  • Plant Pathology
