The Muhlenberg County Homemakers Cultural Arts Committee has planned a fun day out, exploring hidden gems in Muhlenberg County.

We live here and oftentimes overlook the beauty of our own county. Here is your chance to explore parts of the county that you might have not visited before.

On Tuesday, February 11, we have arranged a tour of Thistle Cottage, the Muhlenberg Music Museum, and we'll finish the morning with a visit to The Studio: Art for All. At The Studio, you'll get a chance to paint either a ceramic Kentucky plate ($12) or a 12"x20" Kentucky themed painting ($20).

Contact the Extension Office at (270) 338-3124 by February 4 to sign up. You must let us know if you will be painting the Kentucky plate or painting when registering. You will pay for your own craft project at The Studio. There is no charge for museum tours. You must provide your own transportation. We will meet at Thistle Cottage at 9:15 AM, then travel to the Muhlenberg Music Museum before ending the day at The Studio.
